Super Junior (슈퍼주니어), também conhecido simplesmente como SJ ou SuJu (슈주), é uma boy band coreana de treze membros, criada pela SM Entertainment em 2005. Inicialmente, o grupo debutou com 12 membros, no dia 6 de Novembro de 2005, com o Single "TWINS (Knock Out). No dia 23 de Maio de 2006, a SM Entertainment anunciou a adição de um novo membro, KyuHyun, tornando-os o grupo de 13 membros que são hoje.
Os 13 membros, do mais velho ao mais novo, são: LeeTeuk (líder), HeeChul, HanGeng, YeSung, KangIn, ShinDong, SungMin, EunHyuk, DongHae, SiWon, Ryeowook, KiBum e KyuHyun.
O membro chinês, HanGeng, foi escolhido entre 3.000 competidores através de audições feitas na China pela SM Entertainment em 2001.

Mini biografia:

Geun-Suk começou a trabalhar como modelo infantil aos seis anos de idade depois que ele foi descoberto por um agente de talentos. Naquela época, os pais Geun-Suk estavam vendendo a sua casa e o agente, que era um potencial comprador, via Geun-Suk. Vendo seu potencial, o agente aconselhou os pais Geun-Suk para permitir-lhe tentar uma carreira de modelo.

Jang Geun-Suk fez sua estréia como ator no seriado HBS 1997 "Vendendo Alegria" (Haengbokeul Pabmoda). Ele então continuou a trabalhar na televisão como ator infantil. No ensino médio, Geun-Suk ouviu a música do cantor pop japonês Ken Hirai & banda japonesa de rock L'Arc-en-Ciel. Ele foi inspirado o suficiente por estas bandas para começar a aprender o idioma japonês por si mesmo. No colegial, Geun-Suk foi para a escola na Nova Zelândia para aprender Inglês e Japonês. Embora Geun-Suk quisesse continuar seus estudos na Nova Zelândia, uma oferta de trabalho o trouxe de volta à Coréia do Sul. Geun-Suk conseguiu um papel na comédia popular MBC Nonstop 4. Depois de seu trabalho em Nonstop 4, Geun-Suk achou que sua atuação não foi boa o suficiente. Ele resolveu, então, dedicar-se para se tornar um ator de verdade. Em 2005, em "Lovers in Prague" se tornou um sucesso e foi muito bem visto pelos fãs do drama.

Em 2006, Geun-Suk participou do filme de terror japonês One Missed Call Final, onde desempenhou o papel de um garoto surdo. Usando sua experiência anterior com o idioma japonês, Geun-Suk foi capaz de se comunicar com seus colegas com facilidade. Ele também aprendeu a língua de sinais, em preparação para seu papel.
